I tend to get words and phrases stuck in my head the way a little bit of music would probably get caught in the mind of a musician. For the last couple of weeks, I’ve had a phrase from the Christmas carol “O Holy Night” echoing around in my head: the thrill of hope.
May the holidays bring peace and comfort to you and yours, and as you look toward the New Year, I hope you get a taste of that thrill. See you in 2010.
“…the weary world rejoices…for yonder breaks a new and glorious morn” I love that you reminded me of this line, Abby, I love it! Wish I’d thought of it early enough to include in my Christmas letter! That’s what we need, always. Happy Holidays to you! xoxoxo
