I’m very excited about the launch of a new on-line literary journal that will focus on Franco-American communities in the United States. Résonance is the brain-child of a group of brilliant Franco-American artists and scholars interested in cultivating a forward-looking sense of community among the U.S.’s French-heritage peoples, and I can’t wait to see how the journal will feed that impulse. They will consider works of poetry, fiction, non-fiction, drama, and graphic fiction, as well as translations and reviews, and will publish works in English, French, Louisiana Creole, Haitian Creole, and possibly other languages as well. You can read their full initial call for submissions here.
