Forthcoming Publications

I will have poems featured in the winter issue of Arc, as well as an anthology of Vermont writers put together by WRUV, the radio station of the University of Vermont. I’m delighted to be a book reviewer for Montreal’s on-line arts digest, Rover, and the Montreal Review of Books, where my feature on poet Gillian Sze recently appeared. And I was honored to serve as guest editor of “House of Blessing,” a chapbook by Montreal poet Jan Jorgensen, released by sitting duck press last fall. Looking forward to more fun in print soon!

“Piecework: When We Were French”

I continue to travel throughout New England with my solo show Piecework: When We Were French. The show premiered in July 2009 at the Burlington Waterfront Festival to sell-out crowds, and it has lived on to find audiences in Vermont, Massachusetts, and Quebec. Based on interviews with Franco-Americans, the play explores the legacy of French-Canadian immigration to New England and has given me many amazing opportunities to connect with my own heritage and to learn more about New England’s immigrant past. Epistolary Poetry

I am collaborating on an on-going basis with Brooklyn poet and scholar Leah Souffrant to develop a long poem through correspondence. This epistolary work explores themes of friendship and authorship and the relationship between writer and reader. The piece will eventually be adapted for performance and publication.
